Head Teacher: Mrs. Encinas
Mrs. Encinas was born in Caracas, Venezuela, and has been living in Miami since the age of 12. She has worked at Coral Reef Montessori since 2001 as a VPK Teacher and Assistant. Monica has an AA and AS on Early Childhood Education and graduate from Miami Dade College on May 2010 with a BS in Exceptional Education with ESOL endorsement and Reading endorsement. In August 2010 she became a head teacher in ages 3-6 at CRMA. She has been married since 1990, has three boys and one princess (two are Montessori Pk3 - 8th grade CRMA graduates and are now in high school) and two grand-kids. She believes in the Montessori Education 100% and is the number one fan of Coral Reef Montessori Academy!


Assistant Teacher: Mrs. Noda
Mrs. Noda came to the United States in 1992 from Venezuela. She is a 2003 graduate of Miami-Dade College. She earned her Montessori Certification from MTTI (Montessori Teacher Training Institute) in 2007. She has been working on a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science at FIU. Mrs. Noda joined the CRMA faculty in 2003 after being the parent of a CRMA student for three years. Since coming to CRMA, she has worked as a Teacher’s Assistant in the 3-6 Classroom. An important aspect of her life is family: her husband Ray and three daughters, Erika, Nicole and Isabella (all CRMA students) and a dog, Max. Mrs. Noda loves the outdoors, especially mountain biking.
Teacher’s Aide: Mrs. Abell
Mrs. Abell was born in Cuba and came to the US, to New Jersey, at age five. She holds an AA in Commercial Art and Advertising and is currently working on her Early Childhood Education degree at Miami-Dade College. She volunteers countless hours with Friends Forever Rescue, a non-profit dog rescue group. She assists with their email, website, adoption screening and grooming. She began at CRMA as an aftercare teacher and then moved to the 3-6 classroom. She's been working in the classrooms since 2006.
